The Atha Deva Story

Precise geometry inspired by nature

Atha Deva was born out of a desire to honor the sacred geometry of the Sri Yantra by creating a pendant crafted with the highest possible precision.

Geometry in Exact Alignment with the Divine

While intention plays a vital role in the power of any sacred geometry, it is the exactness of the geometry itself — its dimensions, ratios, and angles — that connects us energetically to its spiritual force. The geometry doesn’t just hold intention; it attunes and amplifies it. In sacred traditions, this precision mirrors divine order. The careful balance of form and proportion creates harmony, allowing a structure (whether a temple, artwork, or a yantra) to vibrate in alignment with cosmic principles. When geometry is truly precise, it doesn’t merely symbolize the divine; it embodies it.

The Atha Deva journey began, fittingly, with curiosity. While searching for Sri Yantra pendants of our own, we noticed that most available designs were geometrically off; sometimes subtly, sometimes dramatically. It quickly became clear: if we wanted a geometrically precise Sri Yantra pendant, we’d have to make it ourselves.

The Journey to a Truly Precise Sri Yantra

Step one was tricky; we needed to find a reliable resource who could provide the precise dimensions of the Sri Yantra. Our search led us to a research paper by a mathematician who had meticulously documented the exact geometric ratios of the Sri Yantra. Excited, we reached out to him directly, and he graciously shared his calculations.

From there, we teamed up with an engineer to bring those dimensions to life in a CAD model, refining it again and again until every line, angle, and intersection aligned with mathematical precision.

That’s when we discovered something important: to achieve true precision, sharpness, and accuracy, the inner geometry would need to be at least 3 cm wide.

This size allowed each triangle and intersection to hold the clarity required for energetic integrity. In doing so, however, the entire pendant would end up being about 6 cm wide, far too large for most people to wear.

That’s when we decided to craft the yantra as two separate pieces.

We made the central Sri Yantra geometry into the wearable pendant and created the bhupura (the outer square enclosure) as a companion holder for use during prayer, meditation, or while charging the yantra on your altar.

Sacred Geometry As a Living Practice

An important note: While the bhupura is an integral part of the full Sri Yantra, it’s the sacred geometry itself that holds your prayers and intentions. Placing the pendant within the bhupura during your practice helps amplify your focus, but once charged, you’ll receive its energetic benefits simply by wearing it against your skin.

Once the model was finalized, we partnered with a precision-machining company capable of producing designs accurate to within millimeters. To preserve the geometry, we decided against adding a hook for the chain, opting instead to thread the chain directly through the pendant so it maintains its perfect balance and fits seamlessly within the bhupura.

Finally, we decided that each pendant and chain would be finished with a PVD coating, making them water-resistant and durable enough for everyday wear, including workouts, showers, and other environments, without tarnishing.

Our journey to craft a truly precise Sri Yantra pendant came with its challenges, yet the process felt divinely guided every step of the way. More than jewelry, these pendants are ritual pieces — sacred tools for creation — and we’re deeply honored to share them with you.
